Computer Lab :
MySchool is the first private school in Oman providing iMac computers in the students lab and it open to all students KG to Grade 6. MySchool’s Computer Lab features iMac computers, iPads, Apple TV, Smart-Boards and Printers for student use. The lab is available for use during scheduled ICT classes. When available, it may also be used by students during regular schools hours.
iMac:
The Computer Lab is equipped with more than twenty iMac units, with wireless keyboards and mouse, Flash drives and CD-RW/DVD+-RW drives. Software includes Technokid’s school curriculum Software, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and various media players.The computers are connected with Wi-Fi network access to allow students to take advantage of speed Internet for completing their research needs.
MySchool Email accounts :
MySchool student email accounts are provided by Google through a licensing arrangement with MySchool. Incoming students will receive their personal email account and login information from the MySchool IT Dept. Members of the MY School community use these distinct IDs and associated passwords to access websites, documents, and applications securely. All MySchool students, staff, and faculty members have an individual MySchool ID.
We encourage all students to become comfortable with the English and Arabic keyboard. It is Myschool’s ambition that each graduating student becomes a completely functional bilingual citizen. Critical skills, such as learning how to use new software, typing, sending email, are the foundational steps to becoming autonomous IT users !!
